11/26/20 - Our Christmas lights are now on every night from 5:30p-10p through New Year's Eve (weather permitting).  We've got a few new things this year...Santa and his faithful dog Buddy are fishing for presents on the left side of the lawn just before our signs, a huge Merry Christmas LED sign on the house, and an inflatable Grinch driving a sleigh (wonder where he got the presents?) on the right side of the lawn. Hope you enjoy the show!  Happy Holidays!

Love Christmas lights? We're Barry and Judy Olson and we welcome you to come on by our house at 1500 52nd Ave SW, Minot ND, and get in the holiday spirit with our synchronized light show. We have our lights on nightly from Thanksgiving night from dark-10p (weather permitting) THRU New Year's Eve. Turn your radio to 94.1 FM when you're about 200 feet from our house and watch the lights dance to the music!  Check out some pictures or videos of our decorations.   Visit  our Facebook page for updates. Unfortunately, we have to "deflate" our inflatables on nights when the wind is too strong, so we've really had to cut back on using them.

HIGHLIGHTS: Our nativity scene is the first thing you'll see to remind you of the true meaning of Christmas.  Santa and his faithful dog Buddy are fishing beside them...looks like he's hooked a present!

MIDDLE: This area is mainly animated lighting. Our Singing Christmas Tree has relocated to the garage rooftop and sings along with Believe, Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, and Feliz Natividad (every other song).

RIGHT SIDE: This is where most of our figures are. We have Santa's camper (check out the interesting characters inside), Bumble the Abominable Snowman, Santa with his reindeer, and with several other winter creatures! If you visit on a balmy night, you just might find Santa and maybe an elf or 2 outside handing out candy canes.

DO'S AND DON'TS: Please be courteous of others. Dim your lights if possible while watching the light show and don't turn around in or park in our neighbor's driveways. The road loops back around to 16th. Just take a left at the fork (or a right for the long way around).
